And more of the same. This disc completes the first series of South Park, and because there were 13 episodes, this disc contains five episodes, which is none too shabby! The episodes are:
- Starvin' Marvin - The gang accidentally adopt an 'Ethernopian' instead of a sports watch, and rampaging mutant turkeys threaten the town.
- Mecha-Streisand - The boys discover a strange triangle which has the power to transform Barbra Streisand in an evil robot. Only Robert Smith can save them now!
- Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo - Seemingly everybody's favourite, this gem is about Kyle's special Christmas friend, a 'talking candybar' as Matt and Trey describe him, who visits good children who have a diet high in fibre.
- Damien - A slightly flat episode for me, in which a new kid comes to school. He's a little different though - he's the son of Satan, and arranges a boxing match between Satan and Jesus.
- Cartman's Mom Is A Dirty Slut - The cliffhanger episode where Cartman tries to find out who his father was, after discovering his mother slept with nearly every man in town.

This disc has the same look as the other two in the series. It's not so bad as to be a concern, but it does fall a long way short of what DVD can provide. Colour is very saturated, shadow detail is non-existant, but this series isn't about picture quality, it's about being juvenile and laughing at farts.

Again, a similar quality to the previous discs. Essentially mono-focused, the soundtrack will generally be restricted to the centre channel if you put your amp into Pro-Logic mode. There are very few 'surround' type effects, but I'm not sure the show was actually in surround, so these instances are probably just the Pro-Logic circuit doing it's general thing, and lucking out occasionally. The French track has the typical bad sound, with no attempt made to reproduce the sonic quality of the English track, or get actors who sounded remotely like Matt and Trey!

Even better value than the previous two discs in the series, though I can do without two of the episodes (Damien and Mecha-Streisand don't have the same amount of laughs as the others). If you like the series and don't want the hassle of importing the possibly-better-quality Region 1 discs, check these out. Sweeeet.
